John and Bryan were great. They installed a new cold air return and fixed a leaking junction box under our house. The did a wonderful job that was not the easiest as we have a very old historic home. They left everything clean and neat and were very friendly. Highly recommend. Also want to give Alex a shout out for giving us a quote and options.

I have been with Jacob for over 16 years. I am particularly intolerant to the oppressive heat here in Florida, so I am a slave to my air conditioning. Today Ray came out to make sure that I was happy with a service call that I had done yesterday, Ray installed my original system in 2009. He always goes above and beyond and he informs me about the workings of the various elements of the system and thermostat so that I can stay informed. I am pretty certain that I used Jacob for the old system that was in our home from 2000-2009 as well. I had a whole house system installed with all new ductwork in 2009. I had a whole house system with ductwork installed in a new building in 2024 and I have kept a maintenance plan in place for 16 years. Jacob's technicians have ALWAYS done a great job trouble shooting and maintaining my systems with professionalism and their expertise. Mr. Jacob has gone the extra mile for me when I was extra whiny about anything that I needed resolved, even a year after an install. I do not forget these extras. The office staff has also been very responsive and helpful and tolerant of my sometimes excessive number of questions because inquiring minds just need to know. As much as I would like to hope that my main house system will last a few more years, realistically, I will likely have to replace it sooner than later. As long as Jacob continues to be a company of the highest integrity, I will keep on using their services. Saving up for our next system but Jacob has offered a no interest financing promotion recently and we hope to take advantage of that again. I am not sure why this old review does not show as having been posted but it only allows me the opportunity to add to it. For almost the entire 26 years we have lived in DeLeon Springs, we have relied on Jacob Heating and Air for all of our AC and heating needs. They installed a new AC and furnace system in 2009 and came back multiple times to remedy little things that I wanted to have done, through no fault of their own, just to satisfy me. I also retained them for a bi-yearly maintenance plan for the past 5 years. Fast forward to 2026, due to the absolute lack of concern from a spray foam insulation company's installation crew, it was discovered by workers who squeezed into our attic that the AC duct work had been crushed, compacted, straps had been cut and the ductwork in general had been destroyed and completely covered in foam insulation which made it necessary for us to have to completely remove and reinstall all new ductwork in our 1952 home. The main installation crew was made up of 2 young men, (very impressive at such a young age these days, no phones in their hands either), who were both NATO certified installers Pablo, and Sean. They were absolutely awesome. They had the worst job to do under the harshest of conditions in the peak of the summer heat, squeezing through tiny areas in the attic to reinstall hundreds of feet of ductwork, securing and mastic sealing it to the duct boots. Creating all of the boots and boxes for the job. These young men were personable, respectful, quiet, clean, showed up on time, they had great communication skills and did an exemplary job installing our new system. Not to forget the daily guidance and inspection of the installation manager Philip who was literally at our beck and call for questions and communication about the job via his personal CP. I would be remiss not to mention the amazing Debi Totten at the office who remained a constant source of communication and information throughout several months it took us to get things lined up for this massive job. Jacob Heating and Air really does honor their motto of treating others the way they would like to be treated. I love a family owned and operated business with integrity. Thank you Mr Jacob and team.

**Update 08-25-26** Our second service appointment on 08-13-26 was again very satisfying. Ken & Erick did a thorough job, and we're happy to know our unit is still hanging in there during this hot summer. I had concerns about our room vents, and Ken ordered replacements for all of the "common area rooms". The price was reasonable, and they returned yesterday to install them. Already, the airflow is so much improved, and they look great. Our LR and kitchen were so much cooler yesterday, just by being able to adjust the flow, which we couldn't do with the older construction grade vents. We now plan to order vents for the bedrooms and bathroom to be installed at our next service appointment. Ken & Erick are a great team, and real assets to your company. They were friendly, professional and explained everything so well. They took time to make sure we were satisfied with everything. We are so pleased that we made the switch, and I look forward to working with them for ALL of our HVAC needs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2025: We have recently changed our HVAC service provider to JACOB, from another company (who I will not name, because they were actually pretty good over the years). We contacted Jacob for a second estimate after our existing company recommended replacing our unit (it was working fine) due to age and deterioration. We were with our previous company since 2016, and while our unit was in great running order, they were wonderful about keeping our AC "maintained" at a fair price. As the years went on, they started high pressure sales pitches to add features, upgrades and finally a whole new unit... (ours is now 13 years old, but running fine). When we told them we were going to get a few quotes before deciding, the other company went into high pressure mode with scare tactics, which we did NOT appreciate. Alex from JACOB came out to offer a second quote for the cost of a new unit. He was about as low pressure as you get, and he instilled confidence. I didn't feel under any pressure to buy a new unit and he presented great info on maintaining and replacing our unit. In fact, he agreed with us, that as long as it's working fine, there is no urgent need to replace it. We liked their quote, and decided that if we did need to replace the whole unit, JACOB had the better quote. My husband and I discussed everything, and we decided to change our maintenance plan to JACOB now, and when our unit finally "dies a natural death", we will merely grab an updated quote and go with JACOB. So we had our first maintenance appointment a few days ago with Jabin and Sam. They were prompt, professional, courteous and even offered some great tips to help maintain our unit. I think we made the right decision.
